Digital Organizing Program
Join our team of Digital Organizers
The United Democratic Headquarters of Pasadena is seeking to revolutionize traditional methods of campaigning and bringing it to the digital space. Our Digital Organizer program allows us to do just that.
Our Digital Organizer program consists of two distinct tracks of volunteering—“Digital Community Captains,” and “Social Media Activists.” Each of these roles is equally important to our success in November, and each of which allows you to choose what method of campaigning best fits your engagement needs. However you most want to engage, we got you!

For folks who have volunteered in the past, these D.O.’s will function to some extent as the Neighborhood Captains of a traditional campaign—with a twist! Each Digital Community Captain commits to hosting bi-monthly (or more!) house parties to help recruit other volunteers from within their social circles and neighborhoods, as well as weekly phonebanks, textbanks, or postcarding events for candidates across CA, across the country, and for the Presidential campaign.
We will provide trainings for all Digital Organizers, and give them materials to help them train their own network of Democratic superstars! In addition to these more “traditional” duties, D.O.’s would be asked to post information about the UDH, UDH events, local electeds and campaigns on their social media platforms and to help us identify folks within their broader communities and networks who react favorable—so that we can reach out to ask them if they’d also like to join our efforts!
In-Person Rockstars
IN PERSON ROCKSTARS:
This program is evolving, ongoing, and will always be subject to social distance needs. :) We’ll be populating our calendar with social outings (e.g. our August 22nd trip to Arlington Gardens to sit and talk strategy for phone banking!) and need volunteers who are willing to come and help us keep the conversation going! We’ll also need folks to help deliver merchandise and/or materials and man socially-distant tables for the same and could use people who are interested in helping through physical, in-person activities (e.g. door hangar deliveries—individually or in teams!; postcard drop-offs, etc.)
